Read a Letter from the PTO
The end of the year is here and we could not have made it without your help and support. We wanted to send out a huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to volunteer to make our school a little brighter and bring joy to our Richland Elementary students and staff.
The closing of this year means that 2026—2027 is right around the corner. Fill out the Google Form if you are interested in serving as a committee chair or committee member for numerous 206—2027 events. Please fill out the form if you are interested in volunteering and being a part of any of our committees, as without them, the events cannot exist.
On Wednesday, May 20, the RES PTO Board voted in 2 new members. Lona Kubik will be taking on the role of Treasurer, and Shawna Linderman will be taking on the Vice President of Student Programs role. They will be joining Amanda Hammel as Secretary and Jessica Kogut as President to round out the board. We are so excited to have them on our team. With that, we have 2 members who will be leaving us after years of hard work and dedication to the school. Apryl Pratt and Kristen Schaffert have been integral parts of the PTO for many years, and we will miss them as part of our team, but know they’ll be around to support. Please join us in thanking them for all they’ve done.
Our new PTO board is excited to welcome new faces in the coming year and are eager to share all that PTO does with anyone interested in learning more. The PTO integrated Membership Toolkit as our primary source of communication this year. It has been a great success. We ask that if you have not already done so, please register for Membership Toolkit to stay informed of everything going on at Richland and for ways to be involved. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and we look forward to a great 2026—2027 school year. In the meantime, have a wonderful summer and enjoy your kiddos!
