Donate to Penny Wars Through February 13

Richland Elementary is excited to host Penny Wars through Thursday, February 13. Each grade level will have its own collection jug located at the school entrance, and students are encouraged to participate by bringing in spare change or dollar bills.

Points are earned by adding pennies and paper money to your grade’s jug, while points can be subtracted from other grades by adding silver coins to their jugs. Pennies are worth one point, while dollar bills earn significantly more points. Nickels subtract five points, dimes subtract 10, quarters 25 and half dollars 50. This friendly competition encourages teamwork, strategy, and school spirit.

At the conclusion of Penny Wars, the grade level with the highest total will be rewarded with a special board game session. All funds raised through Penny Wars will directly support the ongoing efforts of the Richland Elementary PTO.

Thank you for helping make Penny Wars a fun and meaningful fundraiser for our school community!
