Principal's Message—May 8, 2026

Dear RES Families,

Thank you for your incredible flexibility and support as we transitioned to virtual learning this week. The "power of community" is a cornerstone of our school, and seeing our families and staff collaborate so effectively to ensure meaningful learning continued for our students was truly heartening. I am deeply grateful for your partnership.

In the spirit of that community, I would like to share an important opportunity regarding the upcoming school year. We currently have several PTO Board positions available for the fall. Our PTO is vital to the student experience at RES. Without dedicated parent leadership, many of the programs our children love simply wouldn't be possible, including:

• Educational Enhancements: Field trips and school assemblies.
• Special Traditions: Birthday books, the book fair, and winter shopping.
• Community Events: Evening family events and classroom parties.

To maintain these wonderful opportunities, we need to fill our board and committee chair positions. If you are interested in learning more about how you can contribute, please consider the following:

• Attend Our Meeting: Join us for our final meeting of the year on May 20 at 10:00 AM here at RES.

We truly hope you will consider stepping into one of these roles to help us keep these traditions alive for our learners. Thank you for everything you do to make RES such a special place.
