Richland students celebrated their summer reading projects with a special breakfast event on September 20. Thank you to our librarians, Sodexo staff, and our PTO for helping encourage a love of reading!

Richland students were treated to a character-building assembly featuring Jon Pritikin who talked to the kids about his experiences overcoming a speech problem and bullying. One of the world's strongest men and Guinness World Record Holder, Mr. Pritikin entertained the students with feats of strength, including tearing a phone book in half, while reinforcing his message that everyone can be a hero.

Principal's Message—October 4, 2024

Since school started, we have been reviewing the RAMS Way and talking about how to be safe in all areas of the school.  One way that we work to keep everyone safe is to practice our emergency drills (fire, lockdown, and severe weather).  This week we did have our first lockdown drill and the students did a super job.

Parents, please remind and reinforce that no electronic devices should be out on the buses, and if they are bringing a stuffed animal or item for recess to school, it must fit in and remain in their backpacks.

Dine Out Night: Wexford Public

The PTO is hosting a Dine Out Night at Wexford Public on Wednesday, October 9. Don't forget to let them know that you are there for the Richland Elementary Fundraiser.
